They have helped me so much by making sure that I get the classes I need along with helping me get a job where I want to be in the future. I couldn't be more thankful. This school has made my high school experience even better than I could have imagined.
It has been nice to see my son excited about school. He has shared that his teachers are knowledgeable and committed to teaching to a higher level. I have seen a huge change in his behavior towards learning, and I also have seen improvement in his social skills as well. Thank you for making my son's senior year his best academic year! The teachers not only teach, but are invested in sharing their real life experiences.
Research shows that the same skills needed for high school graduates to be successful for college are the same that are needed to be successful in entering the workforce after high school. THINC combines the best of educational practices to promote an engaging environment for students to learn both the competencies and character needed to be successful in both areas. The mission and vision of THINC directly support both outcomes in the ways it combines hands-on learning with cutting-edge educational practices.
The ability to learn what you want to do after graduation while still in high school. For example, I started my sophomore year taking Game Design and I swiftly switched to Mechatronics and discovered a passion I never knew I had for Robotics.
I like the "Out of the box" way of doing things. THINC has given my son so many experiences- way more than I had at his age. The teachers there have been amazing and have pushed him to be the best he can be.
The hands-on experience I have received, the extra information about my career choice that the base schools don't offer and that THINC has helped prepare me for college.
The Opportunities it provides for students to learn in unique ways, progress at their own rate, i.e., Move on When Ready, and the hands on learning and state-of-the-art equipment and experiences.
The administration and teachers have such a high expectation of the student's conduct, appearance, performance and the degree by which the students respond and push themselves to deliver on those expectations. My student raves about his teachers at THINC and how they inspire them to do well.
Getting students ready to enter the work force and college, if they choose. Wanting the students to stay local and see all the potential in their local community.
