THINC in the News: Bretford Manufacturing, Inc.®, a U.S.-based manufacturer of technology-enabled furniture for 21st century learning and business environments, together with Loy’s Office Supplies today announced a partnership with THINC. The vibrant, modern learning center — fully equipped with the Bretford EDU 2.0 line of smart, agile furniture – is being shown to the community during a grand opening on July 30 and is officially open for classes at the start of the school year on August 10.

Honoring the company’s commitment to “give back to the community,” SEWON America presented an initial check for $60,000 to THINC College & Career Academy at SEWON’s LaGrange facility, April 16. This was SEWON’s first donation as part of their $300,000 funding to be provided over a five-year period.

Sparks were flying when students and parents visited LaGrange’s Caterpillar facility for CAT Night, March 9. From welding to painting, Troup County 9th through 12th graders were able to get a first-hand look at some of the jobs at Caterpillar as they viewed presentations and toured fabrication and assembly areas.
